For hormone values the usual range depends on biological sex. For example, the usual range of free testosterone is 0.125 nmol/l or more for men and 0.02 to 0.08 nmol/l for women.
Why we do not judge these values
With hormone therapy, a value outside the range of one biological sex can sit inside the range of the other. A green or red colour would then be wrong. So we show the usual ranges of both side by side, in grey, and show where your value is.
Other values
Values that do not depend on biological sex keep their colours, also within the same test.
