The steps

Get ready
Wash your hands in warm water and shake your arms loose, so the blood flows easily. [Lab advice: best day and time.]

Prick your finger
Clean your fingertip with the wipe, then press the lancet firmly on the side of the fingertip.

Fill the tube
Let drops fall into the tube up to the line. Close the cap and turn the tube gently [n] times.

Put the tube in the sealed bag and the bag in the return envelope.
